My mom has lupus and the Drs told her there was no way any of us children could get it! ummm wrong!... My sister who is now 28 has lupus, the Drs finally tested her after she passed out on the sidewlak for the 1000th time and they KNEW my mom had lupus, they took a long time b4 actually saying yes you have lupus. they thought my mom had aids or was HIV posotive and my sister too, that was along time ago, I am 35 now and I was 13 when they first started testing my mom for things,. Drs are not God I say better to be safe then sorry.
