Be Smart, Be Safe

It is the holiday season and crimes of opportunity are starting to happen. Please lock your doors and tell your guests that they should do just what they would do at home. Unlocked doors with laptops and cameras and cash inside invite disaster.

Don't think because you are in the house you are "safe" from this kind of theft. They come in quietly, take stuff and go. It happens every holiday season and it happens everywhere.

Don't be a victim -- lock doors and windows and use safes if you have one.

The police are committed to spending more time in SP but stuff still happens.

I'm writing this because a friend had a breakin last night -- breakin is a bit strong -- they walked in, took what they wanted and no one heard them.
