Thanksgiving Day, 2008
Dear Friends,
While Thanksgiving is not a Mexican holiday, we certainly had reasons to be thankful here in San Pancho.
We just completed our fall spay/neuter clinic, which was a great success, and it would not have been at all possible without your help and participation. We neutered 70 animals in three days. Our volunteers were absolutely spectacular! They worked long hours and really made the clinic flow smoothly.
We are thankful to all of you who participated . . . those of you who donated time, money, housing, food, supplies, transportation, services . . . what a wonderful group effort!
So on this traditional day of thanks, we would like to thank each and every one of you for caring for the animals and residents of this pueblo. We could not have done the work without you!
Please keep in mind that our work does not end when we pack up the clinic supplies. Going forward, we will tend to the needs of sick and injured animals, provide spay and neutering for animals that did not make it to the clinic, and in some cases, provide food and medicine for dogs and cats at risk. Your donations make all of this possible. The more donations we receive, the more work we can do.
Sincerely,
Betty McIntyre
