Do you know this dog?

A young couple from Montana were here about a week ago and fell in love with this dog. They saw him hanging out at Costa Azul and also at Maria Inez's restaurant. The waiters at Costa Azul said he doesn't have an owner (in spite of the collar) and that he will mysteriously "disappear" soon if no one takes him home.

They would love to have this dog (they called him Paco).

Before I start nabbing a well loved unneutered pup, do any of you know the story behind this little guy? See photo.
