As most know from the fireworks, we are leading up to our saint's day. Trish and I are not there at the moment but we have always enjoyed these celebratons for 15 years.
The entorche will return around noon on the 4th and San Pancho has alwys line the streets to welcome them home. The festivities go to the plaza for mass and gorging.
Special this year will be a fiesta celebrating and recognizing the staff that have worked at our hospital for the thirty years since Echevaria "developed" San Francisco as one of the models of the future. Ya might wanna take a little of time and shake their hands during the celebrations in the afternoon, mutually hosted by Aejadrina and Casa Puerco. The fences come down and the band starts playing sometime in the afternoon.
Please remember this in NOT a tourist event but a "thank you" for the staff that have helped the hospital remain the economic base for San Pancho for 30+ tears.
