I have been reading this message board following the sentiments of "locals" about the growth and development which seems to be overtaking San Pancho. About 6 years ago I bought a small lot in the pueblo hoping to someday build a modest home and become a contributing member of the community. Now I am questioning whether I might be part of the foreign invasion problem.....I have spent a good part of the last 6 winters in SP but unfortunately it seems to be virtually impossible to now find affordable accommodations for an extended stay. I am wondering if anyone knows of someone who might want to rent out a room, with kitchen privledges, for my husband and I from Mid Jan to end of Feb. We would like to come and feel out the situation for ourselver to see if we can still feel comfortable as "extranjeros" living in SP. Thank you for your time.
