The course is essentially gradual, rolling hills. It has some beautiful scenery especially in the second half. However, it is a lonely marathon. The water stops are abundant and the post reception is wonderful. It starts in a rather odd location - in the middle of a street in the middle of nowhere, but there is a piper to start you off!!!!!!!!!!!
