Do you, or someone you know, have an inspirational story to tell?
I’m looking for stories that will inspire and motivate from those of you who have run the Blue Nose Marathon. The story need not be of the run itself, but of your journey to get there.
Everybody has a story worth hearing – it doesn’t matter if you’ve run the 5k, 10k, half or full marathon – it doesn’t matter if you’re a competitive runner, or a beginner – I’d like to hear from you.
I am gathering personal accounts for a book containing motivational stories surrounding the Blue Nose Marathon. As a participant in the Blue Nose, I’ve been inspired by those runners I’ve met along the way. I think about them time and again – using the memories of their heart, and their drive, to get me out the door; and I wonder, how many more powerful stories are out there! How wonderful it would be if they could be shared with others!
Every story will be given serious consideration. The number of stories accepted will be based on the number of submissions received.
Please email your story to cdavisoneill@eastlink.ca or contact me by phone, 902-883-1340.
I look forward to hearing from you.
