Posted by Dave The closest race to Halifax is a 5K in Windsor on Sunday at 9:00 AM. It's about a 45 minute drive from the city. I haven't run this one myself recently, but I would expect it to be a low key event with limited competition. There is a 1/2 and full marathon in Barrington Passage that is on a scenic flat course. It's a well organized event and usually attracts a field of about 150 to 175. It is about a 3 hour drive from Halifax.
