Not usefull, but might be ok for a short trip (a couple a small bottle). Also, you can bring as much liquid as you want in your bigger suitcase, the restriction only apply to carry-on luggage.
If it is possible to bring back wine... I am sure gatorade will be accepted! 
(Just came back yesterday from the USA, had not trouble with small amount of liquid my back pack).
