Posted by Terry M. The Head Shoppe Team Relay is a fun event for companies and organizations with a focus on participation and community spirit. Teams of up to ten runners complete the full marathon course in a relay format. Each team member completes one relay leg of approximately 4.2 km. (Teams may enter with fewer than ten runners; in that event one or more team members run consecutive relay legs.) Teams also help children in our community by raising funds through pledges to the YMCA of Greater-Halifax Dartmouth Strong Kids Program. Proceeds raised will go towards the YMCA.
