I am doing work on my family tree and I like to find out more about my Greatfather George Henry Payne as I have his great big challenge vase. It says on the vase "1st Volunteer (Hamshire) Brigde S.D. Royal Artillery" I have my Greatfather name on the vase, 1892, 1894,1896-98 No 6 C.S.M. Payne, 1900 - 03 No 5co C.S.M.Payne.
I hope you can help me, do you have any story or information about it as I like know more about it. If not, where do I find out about it.
