Finding my Grandfather

For many reasons I don't know much about my paternal Grandfather. Census research states that he was a Gunner in the Royal Field Artillery, 93rd Battery, posted to Hyderabad, India, in 1911. I don't know what regiment of the RFA this is, or how to find his army number etc. His name was Fred Richard Philip Parsons, born in 1886. Any pointers woul be appreciated.
