Hi Geof,Thank you, No I can't say that I did know any of the ex 58 Lads &the .p.o.l was ran I think by the Regiment,but we did have a pig farmer who was as you describe used to come to work all dressed up like a stockbrocker.the piggery was down the ramp under the garages/gun park behind the p.o.l. what about the N.A.A.F.I girls Scouse,Blonde&small pack?I was only 17 & 8 months when I went there and some N.S Lads were still there.I managed to escape in 65.
We were plauged by a firebug who nearly destroyd the p.o.l but he made the garages down the ramp u.s. There were other tails about a ghost in the N.A.A.F.I/ W.V.S block. did you have that story?,
but being a young lad and on guard duty down in the celler on your own with no lights certainly kept the laundry busy.
