Hi There,
I’m the Webmaster of ‘The 39ers Club’. I served with the 39 Regiment RA, when it was a Missile Regiment from 1959 till 1967 at Dempsey Bks., Sennelager, West Germany.
I was in 36 Bty, D Tp. A/T sec. worked with Sgt (Paddy) Curren – I’m ex Bdr. Hughes they call me: Michael (Cabby) Hughes on the internet.
I run ‘The 39ers Club’ it a website for ex members of the 39th Regiment RA, any lads that served with this unit between 1947 to 2008. I have over 700 contact information - e mail addresses & telephone numbers - of lads that served with this unit. At the Reunion in June 2009 they also be two more units that served in Germany mid 1960’s > 24 Regiment RA & 50 Regiment RA and us; 39 Regiment RA < – this is a Big get together for the 3 units that served with the Honest John Missile - 1960 till 1972.
But the welcome goes out to all Gunners that served in either unit at anytime.
