My father, Robert Thomas Roberts, served with the RA during WW2, service no: 11400180. He tained with the 53rd Driver Training Reg RA (HAA) in Edinburgh, then served in Africa, Italy, Yugoslavia, France, Germany and Holland from 1943 to 1946.
When he left the Army he was with “468/94 Fd. Regt. RA” but I’m not sure which regiment.
I would like to try and find out as much information about his army career as he died young and he didn’t leave much information behind. I have a copy of his service record which shows (I think) that he was transferred to 86 HAA regiment in 1946.
