I would like to research the service of my Grandfather who served as a Gunner in the Royal Artillery in the 1914 - 1918 war.
The problem is I don't know where to start.
Can you please point me in the right direction?
All I have is:
Name: George William Collins
No. 68579
Regiment: R.A.
Address: The Lodge, West Byfleet, Surrey.
There is another number on his medal box: 3311.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
