well geoff you`v woke me up now !! your room mate ron gillies rings a bell he was as i remember him a dark haired good looking lad.botham was pete woods mate they both came from derbyshire and were farmers always debating how to plough a field.if danny desmir is the one i`m thinking of he was very dark indian blood good head of black curly hair always greased up in a tony curtis if it was he came to my room a couple of times and we swopped chords on the guitar. botham would remember me. i`v only just come on the net, only learning, it was woody who told me about gillies, i wonder if ron gillies remember`s pete. as far as i know pete is not on the net. he gave up farming and took a job driving H.G.V. delivering quarried stone and one of his runs was liverpool docks so he called in to see me one time. i have his address we keep in touch. have you any photo`s of any in 58 i might reconise keep in touch ron smith.
