Hi Jock - Today picked up your message of July 9, asking about Audie and myself!! My computer regularly plays silly buggers and crashed in June so I gave up and have been off line until now - tho I did use my son-in-law's computer to post notices about the forthcoming reunion.
I was pleased to hear from Audie, a month or so ago, that you would be there. I will be too and look forward to getting together again.
Just before my computer gave up, I was able to get in touch with a few other "waifs and strays" from 79 - Terry O'Brien, then a very tall lad from Wigan, "Archie" Moore, a close p[al of Tony Munns and very short like him and two others who contacted me but whom I didn't know as they arrived in the Battery just before I left.
Audie tells me that there will be about 14 of us at Matlock Bath - excluding wives. So we should have a good weekend.
I was sorry to hear about Bill's trouble and hope that he is well and truely on the mend by now.
Sorry to have been out of touch for so long and looking forward to seeing you.
