Posted by Pete It appears to be made of pewter or silver. It depicts a picture of Gen. Rommel, with a palm tree over one shoulder and a Panzer tank near the other shoulder. It is about 3"x3". The bottom tapers to a point and it appears that a ribbon or something was attached to the bottom. The back is smooth, but it looks like it could have been afixed to a backing with glue, but not soldered or welded. It is well made, as the General features are clear, right down to his nose and lips, the lepals on his coat and the cross around his nect. The tank clearly has tread and other obvious features.

Hello,
While metal detecting in Florida I found a unique medal buried in a yard where a house had been torn down.
I found it several years ago and always thought it might be a comemorative piece, or maybe an award gived during the war.
If anyone has any information or would like to see a picture of the piece, please email me at Juguar2k@Comcast.net.
Thanks
