In other words, their workers have a certain amount of control over the military's data (I am an IT worker and understand just how much control a worker such as myself can have). I do have a problem with such privatization if said civil servants are anything other than citizens of the United States. Mess halls (via conversations from ranking officers) can certainly be a fount of useful knowledge for other countries' prying eyes. Any position in the military has a potential for intelligence gathering on our military.
