It's funny how this mentality seemed prominent prior to the Y2K/2000 event, but since then, there has been little talk of it. Are we really in a new millenium? I wonder how many people still believe, after these thousands of years of no "end of the world" events, that the world will still end in the near future? During the investigations that followed, and after Bush had reviewed a lot of information about Iraq and after he had read quite a bit in his bible (I'm not joking), Bush decided that Iraq was evil. I've always found this mentality disturbing, especially in national leaders. It's sad that Bush and Saddam both share this same religious complex. The thought you followed into after pointing this out was also my first thought, he probably does label it this simply, and that is VERY disturbing, indeed. P.S. No, I was just pointing the spelling out. And it was a good debate. Gave me a reason to research stuff. I'm sure I'll get a good article out of it, or two. It's always nice to produce reusable material.

She has also come to me and told me that her friends think that this is the end of the world.
