Freaking hilarious. Everytime I hear that there is no reason for removing the Iraqi regime by force (that's not to say that you said that), I can't help but to roll my eyes. Saddam has shown every intention of using chemical weapons and terroristic tactics on his neighbors and civilians, and there is only one country on earth that has the military and diplomatic power to end his (and his family's) regime. He's tried assassinating a President of the United States, and I don't think anyone in this world would argue that Saddam would not take an opportunity to harm the United States and its civilians. Thank you for your time, Iceburn P.S. You give the UN too much credit. If you look at the timeline, you'll see that Iraq most certainly rejected several official UN resolutions and mandates. The UN does not quite have the authority that you talked about. It's a body that exists only because sovereign nations allow it to impose such mandates and such. In my opinion, if it continues to go down its current path, it will be dismantled, much like the League of Nations was.
