After the war is over, the "no war for oil" bunch will have egg on their faces. Even if Iraq has no nuclear nor chemical weapons, they certainly has biological weapons - doesn't everybody? Plus, everything else will be laid bare on tape on TV for all to see - the meathook room, the rape room, the acid vat room, etc etc. Then the peaceniks will be loudly crying that no former Bath Party members should be allowed to be employed in any government jobs.

I was given to understand that the speeches in the UN and the many war protest rallies around the world have emboldened Saddam to slow down the pace of his improving in cooperation with Blix (which was supposed to be unconditional to begin with anyhow) in regard to the destruction of long range missiles, etc, etc.
