In reality, Eisenhower would have loved to have had another 15 divisions anyway. Check me out on this Iceburn, but I think it was Marshall who said that the defeat of Japan would not mean the defeat of Germany, but that the defeat of Germany would mean the defeat of Japan.

Yes, the 10(approx) divisions we had in the Pacific Theater by the end of '42 would have had to remain, of course.
