Posted by Tricia Well now we have it all. One year to the day that Jay (aka Jamie) made his debut as a solo performer, we now have the rest of the family - almost. (More of that in a minute) First of all we had brother Simon (aka Robbie Williams). After his birthday debut without legs it was enjoyable to hear him sing with legs. THEN - after several trips out into the fresh air and numerous trips to the ladies loo - we had Maria Von Trapp - (aka Sharon). It was worth the weeks of waiting, despite her nerves she pulled it off and couldn't wait to get back on stage to join Robbie Williams and Jay a little while later! Congratulations Jay on maintaining a faultless re-play of your original first song - Drugs Don't Work (or something like that) despite Nick performing a hysterical rendering of 'Eric Morecombe/Michael Barrymore' in the background. Only a true pro could have kept going. I look forward with excitement to seeing Phil and Julie Andrews - I mean Maria/Sharon - singing 'Sixteen going on Seventeen' next week. The only thing missing was 'Au revoir, Adieu, Aufiederzein (?) Goodbye at the end.... next week perhaps?
