well the evening was supposed to start off with "Black Sheep" but as nick got more and more nervous, we declaired them "Lost Sheep" and kicked off the open mic night early!!James and simon did 3 songs: uncontented? sensitive man and uranium? *im really sorry if this is wrong, i blame you for giving all your songs long names james!*
The i sang 3 songs....... um. i cant remember that either!!But i was joined by my frog, who was later named Chad. He was in my throat!!
then LEE sang with HIS frog - paul. he played that song i really like ... :D how useless is that, then he played a wierd version of basketcase, but it was good. then he played good riddance (time of your life) whic is possibly my fave song of all time. ever. but yeh, he done it well.... think he's got a lot of talent he just needs to warm up a bit before he sings
then it was Grant from Down Under!! He was awesome!!! and i apologise if yur his daughter not his wife.... but his wife/girlfriend/sister/daughter was singing along and giving lots of support... :D (and she said she likes my voice...hehe)
Then came a new one to the club "peter" he played some amazing songs and really got the crowd going, i forget what they are called though. sorry.
Then nervous rob came on (with his whisky) and as the 2 acts before, brought some brilliant guitaring....
although i kinda saw a theme coming along throughout the eveing - perhaps i missed the bandwagon of 10 minutes intros and ten minute outros too...- nevermind, he was good... i couldn't say how many songs he played (sorry) but it's always nice to see new faces!!
Then was chris...what can i say... he's a star! (im sorry i missed your gig at the cafe parisien last night but i have to go see Arctic Monkeys)
Nick is an all round legend really, and he played his best songs.. :D
Jamie's always good anyway and he knows that there's no need for me to say it to be honest! i love his voice, it's very nice indeed
THEN I LEFT!!!
