wow
haha
well personally, my favourite bit was Nick before hand coz he played all my favourites :D - barr The rain song (((i have the lyrics!!)))Paul Vinten - his hair really is rather awesome! he played an interesting set of various styles. LOTS of his own stuff, which i enjoyed muchly. and lots of oasis songs, which i also enjoyed - oh sorry, paul, i didnt mean to keep going "i like that song" every time you played a song - but its true! i DO like those songs!!
HOWEVER his best song BY FAR was - oh actually on second thoughts "somebody something" or something was excellent...and his usual "oh sit down" was amazing but his BEST BEST song was That's entertainment by the Jam. well, mainly coz everyone knew all the words and it got every on a high :D i really enjoyed Paul and think i would like to see him with his band?? (HINT NICK)
THEN i saw james who - needless to say- was amazing. he did Sensitive Man with Simon on guitar - absolutely brilliant, and then he played "bad dream" - i think thats what its called (sorry james, i love yu) which was awesome and then he played a song that he couldnt remember what it was called!! that boy will go far... =)
then..was it me? sorry if i missed anyone out but i think it was me and i played "everybodys talkin" which was okay... bit too repetitive.... and then i played "alcoholic" - starsailor which was also too repetitive and every seemed to be going to sleep!! and i couldnt think of any other song to sing coz i brought the wrong book with me *typical* - in hind seight i should of played love will tear us apart. never mind, next week!
then it was Steve and helen OF DOOM!!!! haha
i only actually saw the first bit of this - or heard it... sounded pretty cool and apparantly steve sung :O
now the rest is kind of down to what thea and sophie said :-
one of their songs went on for 7 minutes or something ridiculous - there was a lack of acts but that IS bit exreme!! it was really good and different, and since sophies been going she's not heard anything like that *nodd*
"the guitarist was good and the girls voice was really opera-eey" - sophie gunner!
Chris Ricketts - played three songs, I will follow you - his classic, a bob dylan cover and another bob dylan cover - sorry chris they all kinds sounded similar so we get confused.
we didint hear TOM KELSALL but he's GREAT anyway so i ASSUME he was his usual excellent self.... and nick.. well... you are always fab. so im sure you were fine.
well... that was a good waste of an ICT lesson... but anyone elses reviews are mush obliged right??
