Cheers to Playboy for being so punky, and Kev for driving down from Hitchin - although I don't think I was the main reason he came... the lure of Monkey World is just too strong for some people to resist! Thanks also to the huge clan of Bone's that came along - their whooping and cheering will make me sound really popular on the recording! The Barn was full to the rafters, and I had a great time playing an hour's worth of my favourite original songs. I was really pleased with the on stage sound this time, so hats off to Mr Matt Morey who was twiddling knobs all night (not for the first time, eh, eh?!) to make sure there were no hitches. Finally, I think Nick Courtney deserves a special mention. The man is a star. His open mic night is the best one I've found, and he's been kind enough to let me sabotage his club on a Thursday night to do a live recording whenever the whim takes me. Thanks again everyone.
