TOM KELSALL - LIVE @ THE BARN
CALLING ALL TOM KELSALL FANS... Whatever you do, don't miss my latest live recording project at The Barn on 25th August 2005.
I'm going to be playing a full hour of original material (some old classics, some brand new) between 8 and 9pm.
My set will be professionally recorded and mixed by a team of willing oompa loompas, and the resulting CD will be available to purchase soon after the event. Make sure you arrive early
to get good seats, as the show will start at 8pm sharp.
If that's not exciting enough, maybe I should mention that Tom Kelsall - Under The Covers (my previous live recording, consisting of 10 superb cover versions) is now finished. It sounds fantastic and will be for sale at the gig on
25th August for a very reasonable £3.

Thursday 6th October 2005 BLACK SHEEP 8.00 - 9.00 pm
We are a three piece rock band from the midlands, We have a range of styles
such as blues/indie and heavy rock ,we also do an acoustic set with the use
of a piano or keyboard.
Most of the songs are about living around a factory based small town were
people like us are expected to follow the crowd and blend in to a life of
factory work.
But lately we are getting more political with our lyrics and taking on
bigger issues such as the goverment,war,ect.........
hope to see you there and dont worry all the songs aint that serious.

16 Bronsons, Portsmouth finest alternative rock band have reformed after 4 years and are returning to Pompey for a one off acoustic gig
@ Roger Courtney’s open mic night on 20th October 2005.
They will be performing some of their slower numbers with some new stuff thrown in for good measure. These are some comments people have made
about 16 Bronsons since they reformed:
“In their prime they were the best band in pompey in my eyes”
“we played a gig with 16 bronsons and felt like slitting our wrists after that!!!”
“Sweet band...good to know that they have been summoned from the grave!”
Don’t miss this chance to see 16 Bronsons up close, personal and stripped bare.

Thursday 1st December 2005 - FRIENDS OF BRUTAL ARCHITECTURE 8.00pm - 9.00pm
"Friends of Brutal Architecture are:
Andy Turton - Bass Guitar
Paul Smith - Drum Kit
Math Charlton - Guitar and vocals.
'Friends...' formed over summer 2004 and have returned to basics with a rock-indie
three piece after many disparate projects. Their new and self-penned music shows
off the dynamics of the band: softer passages are gouged out by angular riffs
and melodic choruses. Songs range from challenging political motives to wry
observations of the human condition."
