kev opened up with an AMAZING song about a car (we loved it) then an amusing song about his dog - but could've been about my dog-
Then Sam and Andy (students)with friends (forgot their names, sorry, did three songs... 3 guitars and a harmonica. was AMAZING. everyone got a feel that they were witnessing something special!!
Then Steve does what steve does best and wowed us all to sleep with his quirky tunes.
oh before that we enjoyed Terry Shulman poetry. enough said.
Then Sam filled in for the "missing" simon and played a couple of acoustic numbers, both enjoyable.
I struggled greatly through two eighties songs (will practise in future!) Lauren and Kirsty - 2 more new faces - sang Kt Tunstalls "other side of the world" with me on guitar.
then kirsty sang a breath taking version of evanescence's "my immortal" but stopped half way through (too damn shy)
Lauren (bob) sang again with her cd and as usual blew us all away. simon - rock god- did some funky guitar stuff and then i left *nodds*
just thought i'd give a go for once...
can't wait for Nick to come back!!!!
