board and batten siding mat'ls Posted by Ryan Jackson on October 21, 2007, 11:08 pm I'm looking at building an EG - series house in SK wondering what materials besides a cedar board are you using for this style of siding application. I have used james hardy siding on our family cabin and on a few clients houses but they don't seem to have antyhing that would work well for this either? Just to the point where we have to make a decision on siding. Since the beginning we have favored Hardi board. Real wood not practical on the east coast of US. Near a golf course so we need something durable too. Had considered B&B look using Hardiplank, but found out it would be $7M upcharge over the plank. We'll be going with the plank.  Post a Response
