door screens Posted by Chris on June 7, 2007, 9:07 pm We are wondering about screens for the types of doors that are shown on these designs. We would certainly want to have one or more doors open during the warmer months, but bugs are a problem in northern NY state. Any thoughts?  Post a Response

The first would be to order the doors where one side is fully operational while the other side acts like a venting window which will open about 15-20 degrees complete with a screen to eleminate insect penetration. The second option if you would prefer that both doors be operable would be to install Phantom Screens. These screens, when not in use, slide into a discreet track that is mounted onto the side of the door jamb.
