Western Canadian pre-fab manufacturers?

ABout six montha ago on your message board, I found info about a company in Vancouver that manufactures homes from your plans. If anyone has info, I'd appreciate it as my husband and I will be in Vancouver this Sunday, Mar. 18, and would like to take a look at their product.

Hello Lois: The company you will want to contact out in B.C. would be AllPro Building Systems who are located in Abbotsford. Here is their website so you can get their contact information, www.abshomes.com . The gentleman you will want to talk to is Larry Clark. He will be able to provide you with all the information you need in regards to the service they offer along with the materials they use and costs involved. There's also www.maplehomes.com In their collection of Craftsman homes, both the Barret and Gibson look to be Series A and the Prentice looks to be the Series C. They seem to not have much choice in sizes though. I am not sure if they're in Vancouver or not, but Linwood (which they are a division of) has their head office in Delta, so I am guessing that they might be able to help out. Has AllPro ever Panelize one of your homes yet? If so was it fore an owner/builder or a contractor?

Hello Kelvin: The relationship that we have with ALLPro Building Systems is fairly new and was established to promote our plans to a larger market as well as give our clientele a source to have our plans completed in a panalized fashion. We toured their plant last summer and were very impressed with the set-up and the attention to detail that they provide. With this knowledge of their company, we have referred their services to several clients over the last half year but after that we do not track whether or not our clients have continued that route. My husband and I are in the process of building E-1681 on Saturna Island. We used Pacific Homes to use our plans and supply materials to lock-up. We are very pleased with their product. They are in Cobble Hill, BC on Vancouver Island and will ship all over the world.

I live in Colorado and am looking at the E series. Does anyone have a recommendation for prefab manufacturing locally? Thanks...
