we are getting ready to build the b1275 cottage I figure the rafters will be approx. 21'+ overhang. is this correct? also do you know of a supplier for 2x8's or 2x10's this long? We are in upper N.Y. on the Canadian border. Do you recommend pre-engineered roof trusses, or dimensional lumber? Is exposed rafters/beam a common look for this style of ceiling?
