Posted by Kyle Lockwood A couple of questions regarding the G-1828: Is there a knee wall in the upstairs bedrooms? I would like to gain a foot or two of floor space and create a little more character in the spaces with a cove ceiling (I would also like to remove the closets in the bedroom on the right - it's just a guest bedroom and a big armoire will do just fine). Is it possible to have a shed dormer on the bathroom and stairwell portion of the upstairs? I would like to add a 1' or 2' high bank of windows above the shower/stairs. Can the furnace be relocated to the crawl space below the first floor or the attic space on the second floor? I'd like to free up some space in the mechanical room for a coat closet (I'd like the current closet converted to the pantry because I it might be nice to have a bank of windows on the kitchen wall instead). I'm also considering moving the stacked washer/dryer to the master bedroom closet. Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated.
