Hi! Cool plans! My land is a mild slope, but unfortunately the best views are not to the south! I'm thinking about trying to split the difference, and place the walkout in the front of the house, but site the house at an angle so i get views and solar gain. I'm looking at your plans trying to determine which would be best window-wise/walk-out possibility wise, but the other problem is that I need to have a chimney in the near-middle or middle of the house, since I live in Maine and it's cold here most of the time. Do these plans have some sort of heating system designed into them, besides the chimney? I don't desperately need a screened-in porch, but I love the little second-floor balcony. i'm looking for a 2 bedroom with loft for third bedroom, or three bedroom. i don't need two bathrooms. I need small, simple, and realatively inexpensive to buid.
i hope you can suggest a couple of your plan options, based on yur experience.
