We would definitely want the reverse plan format. We would be using a slab foundation for the house. For the garage, what seems appropriate to the plan is to use the current mechanical room/laundry area for the entry though we are open to suggestions should you have a better idea. This might make fitting things tough so if this meant having to step up the footage on the house plan some to accommodate keeping at least a half bath and the laundry, we would want to see those options should you have them. Mechanicals could be at the back of the garage and we were looking for something approx 23 wide by 29 deep.
