Hi Wendy,
We went with modular for the following reasons;
1. Being out of town it is hard to get contractors and sub contractors out to the site.
2. The house is delivered on time and on budget.
3. We did not want the house exposed to the elements while being built. Saskatchewan weather can be brutal and I drive by all these partially finished places getting rained on or snowed in and wonder if the fibreboard is swelling and what damage is being done by wind and rain/snow. My place is being built inside and not exposed to the elements.
4. The cost was a bit less and we upgraded a lot of finishes.
I don't know if Conquest has worked with Robinson Design, I think not. I really liked the fact that Conquest took a totally custom design and made it work.
