Hello John,
I'm sorry I was not clear on the changes to the plan. I meant total square footage for the house not including the basement. The subdivision restrictions of the land I have, requires the minimum of 1500 sq. ft., 1000 on the first floor of a 2 story house. I wanted to keep my costs down so I was trying to stay within that size as the house is just for me. Would the I series, be a better choice to reduce the size that much and change the 2nd floor or do you have another suggestion of which plan might work? I want the master bedroom on the main floor. I am hoping to get everything going next year and will be calling you when I am closer to building. I love this style of house, and am excited to finally get things going. I'm in Tennessee and was also wondering if I need to consider any modifications because of our climate.
