Posted by Rob Young Yes, you do have one of our older books. The reason for the square footage changes was to make these plans IRC compliant. This is the governing residential building code for the U.S. If you are building in Canada, we can use one of the older plans if you would prefer. As for your questions on relocating the closet to suit a shower on the C-1400 plan, it may be possible but we would still end up having to steal a little room from the mechanical room to do make it work as the bathroom is not wide enough as it is to suit the addition of the shower. In the C-1224 plan, we can add a closet to the foyer by flipping the entrance to the bathroom but by doing this we will lose 4" in the kitchen in order to accommodate enough room for the new location of the closet door.
