Posted by John Robinson I just did a check on Google and there are a few companies out there who offer off the shelf ship's ladders. If you were considering just building one, it could be built of welded steel, instead of wood as we have it detailed on our drawings. Just a word of caution, if you are using a ship's ladder, make sure to check with your municipality to see if it can be used for accessing 'living area'.
