173.35.188.223Robbins has ridiculous prices for their singles on iTunes. Why would you pay $10 for a few mixes...you wouldn't even pay that much for a physical CD copy.
Not only that, but making ETD $1.29, less people will be buying it. I personally NEVER purchase songs at $1.29. It's totally due to label greed.

And there aren't many record labels domestically even releasing singles anymore, not compared to ten to fifteen years ago. There's just no money in them. 71.203.26.139No offense, but I have to agree with most people on here. When I-Tunes raised the prices of their songs to $1.29, there was A LOT of outrage here in the States.... and there still is. Matter of fact, people purposly boycott the $1.29 songs to make a point. I know Amazon and Walmart have gone to similar price structures like I-Tunes, but it doesnt mean that people will just magically comply with it.
I want "Evacute the Dancefloor" to be a hit, but making the radio single at $1.29 is going to deter a lot of people from buying it, especially since it hasnt been played a lot of radio, yet.

76.115.180.71...I have to agree with most of the reviews on iTunes' pricing of the single at $9.99, and $1.29 for each song is a little much, but the new iTunes pricing has not changed people's mind about purchasing digital music. As a matter of fact, after the price increase, people have NOT been boycotting iTunes. There has actually been more downloads (more $1.29 downloads than $.99 downloads), and iTunes is now more profitable than before.
And yes, there were some outrage, but those has now subsided...And I thought it was great that Robbins has priced the digital single at $9.99. Hopefully that will make people purchase the CD, instead, and revive the CD single market like how the vinyl market has recently been revived...

99.225.239.91Some record companies (not Robbins though) charge $5.99 on iTunes for 13-15 mixes and $7.99 for 20 remixes of the same single. Those companies I praise. Sure, each mix is sold at 99 cents individually but volume discounts do exist with them!
Now I'd say that much much better than $10 for 10 remixes.
The day that digital is consistently more costly than physical is the day you can start cringing about P2P again. And this time the RIAA (and the respective associations in other nations) along with the federal governments will not be able to bail you out with legislation and lawsuits.
There's a reason why FREE is a commonly supported theme globally.
You can steal the song but you can't steal the outwork. Yes, there are many people out there who still want the artwork and the credits but digital should be dirt cheap relative to physical.

69.181.211.120Well, there is some volume discount since every mix is priced at $1.29, but the whole album is $9.99.
However, I agree, it's too much. I think only the main Radio Edit should be $1.29 and the other mixes $0.99. (some people only buy the radio edit, and if you only buy 1 song, I think it's ok with $1.29). But if you want to buy the whole album there should be a bigger discount. It can't be more than buying the physical.
