I would have to agree with Suzanne and Gail, for the most part. I am not too big on listening to the news because I find it so depressing. However, with talk of war, I can't escape it. I am also one of those people who is totally clueless to how we got to this point.
Even though I am against this war and death and destruction in general, I do believe that it is going to happen and there is no way to stop it. I mean, there are already over 200,000 American soldiers over there ready for deployment into Iraq. I also believe that President Bush is trying to finish what his daddy wanted and is just finding something else to use against Iraq in order to get what he wants. I do not see how going to war is going to help our country. Also, this war, I believe, will increase dislike of Americans and threaten national security through heightened terrorist acts. I do not want to live my life in fear! I want to find the good in this world and exploit it!
