I hope no critic would suggest several of those novels. I expect the winner to be something I would hope no serious critic would suggest. I will watch the show just to see what some people say. In the ad for the show, Leslie Stahl names War and Peace.
In general, I can only separate novels into the ones I really really enjoyed, the ones I liked a lot, the ones I liked well enough, the ones I couldn't get into, the ones that I really didn't like at all, and the ones I'd like to beat the author with.
And yet, I believe I do have a rather special feeling for Wuthering Heights and Mme Bovary.
