I have no problem with Lincoln in the Bardo.
I've read Herzog, and while I'd have no problem rereading it, my copy is in Mississippi. How about Ravelstein instead?
My first nomination is Ghosts by Cesar Aira. I always like to hold my second.
Aira's books are so short, we could read a second in that slot if we like the first. I have read one, An Episode in the Life of a Landscape Painter, and liked it pretty well.
