I read it 10 years ago. I appreciated it very much at the time. But I think I must re-read some of the stories after Guillermo's review. I do remember that the depiction of people were very life-like and it is certainly a genius who can do that at a young age.
By the way, Steven Colbert's "I Am a Pole and So Can You" is now side by side with the manuscript of Ulysseus at the Rosenbach museum:

We are huge fans of Steven Colbert here in the Eskicioglu residence and after learning that Steven not only shares a museum display with James Joyce but he has also read the Ulysseus, I am now tempted to give it a try myself.
