Me, too. I've been working my way through WS's Sonnets. Difficult and demanding poetry. Have you been reading them in English??? If so, my hat is off to you even more than usual. They are darned difficult poems for a native English speaker.
I have a degree in Stage Directing, so I've read all the plays of both (although I've pretty thoroughly forgotten some of the less important Shakespeare). I particularly recommend Doctor Faustus by Marlowe. Amazing play.

: Another good outcome of ADMID is that I read, for the
: first time, something by Marlowe. I took my copy of
: "The Best Poems of the English Language",
: edited by Bloom, and read what was there, three
: extracts from "Tamburlaine". I loved it,
: soon I'm going to get something like Marlowe's
: "Complete Works". I'm also reading all of
: Shakespeare's sonnets, and in my reading list I have
: his two long poems, "Venus & Adonis",
: and "The Rape of Lucretia". Thomas Nash is
: also there in "The Best Poems", as well as
: other contemporaries of Marlowe and WS. īTis pity
: Burgess died before penning the third part: his
: biographical novel of Ben Jonson.

: What a great observation, Steven! So, what do we read
: next?
:
: There's a sequel to Wolf Hall coming out next week
: titled Bring Up the Bodies . It's chiefly about the
: trial of Anne Boleyn. Of course, that would put us
: moving forward in time. I may be reading it soon
: anyway, as I've applied for a review copy. I'll find
: out in a couple of days if I get it. If I do then I'll
: also have to read Wolf Hall a month ahead of our
: schedule.
:
: I'm kidding , of course. Although I do recommend
: Connie Willis' Doomsday Book .
:
: I have this and would like to read it soon, but there
: are so many conflicting priorities I'm not sure when
: I'll get to it. Of course there's no reason why we
: couldn't put it on our reading calendar for next year.
: The group has done science fiction before.
