Glad you are loving it. No apologies necessary, but you'll have to hold your tongue on it for a few months, won't you? (The "I333" had me confused at first.)
I'm also reading a book with a number in the title, 2666, which Sterling hated. So far I like it, but I'm only 100 pages into it. The principal characters so far are all professors of German literature, which is what I might have become if I could have gone to grad school as soon as I finished undergraduate, but the need to earn a living made for different choices (or no choice at all).
