I ordered a used copy of Recollections from Amazon for $2.75 right after we finalized our reading list. I guess I got the last cheap one. Most of my recent book buying has been used copies via Amazon. I've ordered books from Amazon US that are shipped from the UK, but I've never thought to go to the UK website.
The Tunnel is being released April 24, and I have that one pre-ordered.
I have Nothing Like the Sun and will probably start reading it in two weeks unless there's a consensus to start early.

: Can you not order from the US? One of the sellers on US
: Amazon is offering a new copy of Nothing Like the Sun
: for 5.77 USD. Even with shipping and handling, it
: doesn't seem like it would be that bad. They know me
: very well at UK Amazon because I have ordered from
: them so often.
:
: (I haven't found a new copy of Recollections of Things
: to Come for less than $30 here either.)

: For some reason, "Nothing Like the Sun" is
: not
: available new in Canada.
:
: Recollections of Things to Come by Elena Garro is $37.
:
: I am continuing looking.
